What we offer to individual faceters:

• Shipping
  All shipping in the US is sent USPS Priority 2 day mail. It costs $5.00 for shipments under $100.00 and $10.00 for shipments over $100. If you want insurance on a parcel, please contact us immediately after paying for the parcel.
• Money back guaranty
  We understand that it is hard to evaluate rough without seeing it, and we support a full return policy. All rough is fully returnable within 10 days of purchase provided that the rough is returned in its original unmodified condition.
• Splitting of parcels
  Sometimes a parcel contains just too much material for the faceter who does this for a hobby, not a business. We will split the parcels into smaller parcels to make them more affordable.
• Extended Payments on whole parcels
  We have extended payment plans to allow you to purchase a whole parcel and pay for it over time.
• A display of stones you have cut and are proud of
  Send us pictures and descriptions. We will post them for all to see. You didn't have to buy the rough from us.
• A "Stock Exchange"
  We offer a bulletin board where you can exchange anything faceting-related with other faceters. You deal directly with the other party. We just offer a way to share information.

1. If it is an auction item, you can make a bid on this item. You can tell whether or not it's an auction by the presence of an "Auction Ending in dd Days, hh Hours, mm Minutes" message in the header of the item. If this is not an auction item, your offer is sent to the miner/owner of the rough for consideration. The miner/owner may ignore, accept or counter your offer as they choose. This is like haggling with the miners in the open marketplace in their native villages. Once an amount is agreed upon, you may purchase the item as explained below.
2. Purchase the item. You will be able to pay for the item using your Paypal account or using a credit card without a Paypal account. We do not see any credit card information. We only get notified from the credit card processor that the item is paid for.
3. Buy the item over time. You can pay a partial payment now, and pay the remaining balance in six equal installments without interest charges.
4. Reserve the item for one hour. This enables you to select several items and then pay for them with one transaction and incurring one shipping charge. When you are ready to pay, go to "My Items" and click on the items you would like to pay for next to the item in the reserved list and then click Buy at the bottom of the reserved section.
5. Reserve an item for 30 days. By paying a small reservation fee, you can reserve the item for future purchase. You can extend that reservation by paying additional fees. All fees are credited to the purchase when completed.
6. Pay an extra amount. This is a useful button for paying a little each month on an item and then eventually purchasing the item. This is also useful for splitting payments across multiple credit cards. Simply reserve the item, pay an extra amount using one credit card, and then purchase it using another credit card.
